  2. Mental Health: The BasicsUnderstand mental health as something everyone has, recognise what influences wellbeing, and avoid diagnosing young people.
  3. Your Mental Health Matters TooRecognise the emotional demands of volunteering and use support and boundaries well.
  4. Supporting Someone Who Is StrugglingUse four practical steps: NOTICE, ASK, LISTEN and CONNECT, while staying within your volunteer role.
  5. When Things Feel SeriousRespond safely to distress, panic, unusual experiences, self-harm and suicide, without needing to become a practitioner.
  6. Safeguarding at Be Free CampaignRecognise, respond to, record and report concerns the way Be Free Campaign requires. This module cannot be skipped.
  7. Culture, Identity and Mental HealthWork with cultural humility and take discrimination seriously.
  8. Growing Up OnlineUnderstand online harm as real harm, including grooming, sextortion and AI-generated abuse.
  9. Relationships, Misogyny and RadicalisationUnderstand belonging, power and influence, and treat radicalisation as a safeguarding issue.
  10. Vaping, Substances and Addictive BehavioursStart with why people use, not with warnings. Respond without shame.
  11. Being a Safe Be Free Campaign VolunteerHold warm, clear boundaries and follow Be Free Campaign's contact and AI rules.
  12. The Final Be Free Campaign ChallengeOne young person. Eight stages. Everything you have learned, in order.

Safeguarding comes first

Be Free Campaign requires safeguarding induction before you deliver anything, refresher training at least every two years, and an annual update if you volunteer regularly. The safeguarding module cannot be skipped.
